I’m so happy with my recent experience with BPI Building and Pest Inspections. Jacob did the inspection and was so thorough, he told me absolutely everything I needed to know then talked me through what needed to be tended to and what to just keep and eye on. He is clearly very passionate about his job and really cares!

We booked Jacob from BPI on the strength of these reviews and may I say that we believe that the rating is unfairly limited to 5*s. We found BPI to be fast, efficient, friendly and incredibly detailed. The service is by far and away the best Building and Pest experience I have had and we cannot recommend them enough. With a very fast turn around, excellent communication, thorough investigation and time was taken to explain each issue to my partner (and her father). We had our B&P booked for a Friday and had the lengthy report the following day!In short - if you want a Building and Pest done thoroughly, on time with great communication - don't hesitate and give these guys a call.

Had my building & pest inspection with Jacob last week. The quality of service provided by the BPI team is simply miles ahead of another building and pest inspector I previously had for another property. Jacob was approachable, knowledgeable and was extremely thorough with the inspection. He took the time to walk me through all the intricate details of the inspection at the end. He even went as far as giving me a call the next day to make sure I am all across with the results. Needlessly to say I was very impressed! Shout out to Rosalee at the main office, she was very prompt with her replies and was able to help me work out several conflicting schedules with the owner before settling on a suitable time for me. I will certainly call up BPI again in the near future! :)

I first met Jacob when he did the building and pest inspection of a rental property I was living in. When I bought my own house, I knew I had to use Jacob as he is very thorough and I value his opinion. Rosalee in the head office is also very prompt with her replies and very informative. Can't recommend Jacob and Rosalee enough for their professionalism and customer service. Jacob has inspected two houses for us on our property search and both times very thorough inspection and taking the time to explain the report and issues to us which was really helpful as first home buyers. Both were really responsive and helpful when I needed to call back later for help with some issues, taking time out of their days to offer advice. Thankyou both!

We used BPI twice now for our pest and building inspections. Rosalee is amazing to communicate with and Jacob really knows what his doing, he is so knowledgeable. His in depth findings saved us from purchasing a home that was a ticking time bomb that would of financially broke us.We now have the upmost confidence that the home we are now purchasing is safe and sound after Jacobs thorough inspection.On top of the great expertise BPIs turn around on reports are so fast and very easy to understand.We can no recommend this guys enough. We have engaged the services of BPI twice now and highly recommend them. We have been burned before in a previous home where hidden issues were not recognised (different inspector and region), which caused extensive repairs and health issues for our family in the years to follow. Since moving to the region and purchasing a new property, Jacob's thorough and professional inspections and reports have allowed us to make a sound decisions due to his expertise and use of additional equipment that often only building biologists use. On top of that, both Jacob and Rosalee are genuinely lovely people and an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Very thorough, professional, and helpful. Rosalee was very friendly and accommodating during the booking process. Her husband Jacob conducted the inspection and was very helpful with any questions we had on-site. His report was ready the next day and went into a lot more detail than we expected. It included photos of many minor defects we didn't even notice ourselves, such as small chips in the bathtub and swelling ina skirting board caused by minor water damage. Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend BPI for pre-purchase inspections. I was looking to purchase a Townhouse and engaged BPI to conduct my building and pest inspections. The booking process was seamless and straight forward. The day of inspection, Jacob got right into it and conducted an extremely thorough inspection. After doing his thing, he took the time to walk me through the property to explain his findings and what I might expect to see in the report. Following the inspection I received the report within 24hrs as promised. The report was very thorough and reliable. I would definitely use BPI again.

Thank you Jacob for the most comprehensive detailed building and pest inspection report. If I could rate you more above the required stars I would have. The report literally save me and my family from buying a run down property and also some doggy real-estate agents whose sole purpose is to rip off clients.I was at the inspection with Jacob he took me through what the issues were and was quick to spot some structural issue with the building. In fact this guy deserves a medal,now thinking back if I had not contacted him for the building inspection I would have ended up with a property that would've constantly drain money out of us. My husband and I had BPI do the inspection of our first home purchase. Being a first home owner I was so overwhelmed when it came time to arrange the Building & Pest Inspection I googled and put through enquiries on websites. Rosalee phoned me back within minutes to provide a quote. Whilst I waited for other companies to provide quotes I mistakenly enquired again via BPI's website. Rosalee phoned again and asked if I was ok? And if she could help. She explained everything Jacob does and how they operate and I was so reassured by Rosalee I booked the inspection straight away with them. Jacob was amazing! So thorough and very friendly and kind. My husband is a carpenter and so is his boss who was also present at the inspection. Jacob chatted shop and explained things to them, then politely gave me the non-tradie friendly version. Jacob took his time - the inspection lasted 3ish hours. He was honest and realistic about issues and possible fixes. Highly recommend Rosalee & Jacob. Most enjoyable part of our purchase experience was their kindness and professionalism thank you.

Jacob and Rosalee were a pleasure to work with. We were purchasing an investment property and Jacobs report was very thorough. He took me through his key findings on the day at the property and carefully explained why he flagged them and possible next steps. They then followed up with me to see how we went with our engineer, who actually had mentioned to me that the inspector had done a great job in spotting some of the issues. I would highly recommend BPI to anyone needing an inspection.

As a Property investor from Sydney I would highly recommend Ipswich BPI to both home owners and investors. Ipswich BPI is a family owned and operated business, Jacob and Rosalee commit excellently to their customers needs. I personally have had 4 inspections taken out by Jacob. His in depth knowledge and experience is unlike any other in the industry. The best aspect of the service is the personable responses I have received from Jacob. He often takes time out of his day to have a chat over the phone to explain the building and pest reports, he explains them in a way which is super easy to understand and doesn't leave you scratching your head at the written report when it is received. Jacob was very thorough and provided a very detailed report. He was swift with initial communications, and took approx. 2 hours to comprehensively check the place, in addition to providing us a final run through verbally and answering all our questions. Not only that, but most importantly, he made himself available for further enquiries AFTER we got the report and was more than happy to answer our questions then too. Thanks Jacob!
